The “A” course unusually appeared to play “up and in” early. Winners were 0 to 6.9-lengths off the leader at the 800m, came from 1^st through 8^th position & 1 to 3-wide in the running. Lanes 1 to 11 were used by winners in the straight. The rail was fine early in the card and with racing, the track ended up playing fast but fairly enough.
