The track raced very slowly overall, well outside of standard (notwithstanding races being run at a dawdle) and I made adjustments accordingly. Winners came from up to 6-lengths off the lead horse at the 800m and most winners swooped from 3-10-widths off the inside rail in the home straight. The rail was off and not a good spot to be in the straight, and was just okay in the running. It wasn’t detrimental being wide in the running.
