GOOD LUCK FRIEND has been excellent in all of his starts to date and showed good progression when winning his last start. Then he beat BIZ POWER after showing good early speed then taking a sit following a steady pace. Whilst he goes up in weight, he is progressive and clearly has more to offer, so is the horse to beat even though his numbers aren’t amazing. Biz Power ran well and is well-drawn. Whilst he doesn’t have an abundance of tactical speed, Purton should still be able to have him a couple of pairs closer in the running than last start and that might prove crucial. If the speed is stronger than expected that will further aid the chances of Biz Power. WIND N GRASS comes out of the same event and had an excuse for appearing “flat” on first look (pulled up lame). At his best he could win, however he maps poorly from his draw and will need the leaders to overdo things in front. BIG FORTUNE remains in sound form and is weighted to be competitive here.
