WINNING BREW caught my eye before his debut on the dirt and ran a top race all things considered. I like his switch to the turf and even though he’s drawn the outside barrier he can overcome it. GREEN ENVY is a massive price and he is a genuine upset hope, so I’m happy to have a speck outlay on him.

Results: 1st @ $5.50 BC (+27 units) + 9th (-1 unit) -> (+26 units)

PERFECT MATCH looks the clear and obvious leader in the sprint feature and with a light weight he can lead all the way. He was good last start and won a similar event in January, so is clearly the horse for them all to beat.

Results: 2nd (-5.5 units)

Group 1 winner SOUTHERN LEGEND has be in super form and this looks a nice race for him to stamp his class. Yes, he concedes weight to all, however he maps to get the favours in front and will be hard to run down.

Result:5th (-4.5 units)

Whilst GOOD LUCK FRIEND is the horse to beat in the last race, there is a lot of pace in the event and he’s very short. There’s decent value betting both BIZ POWER and WIND N GRASS to cause a minor upset.

Results: 3rd (-2 units) + 6th (-1 units) -> (-3 units)

Race 7 isn’t a clear-cut event, however I feel the market has moved to much towards the mounts of Moreira and Purton to the extent where one has to have small outlays on those horses (FULL POWER and ENJOY LIFE) as well as WONDER EXPRESS.

Results: 5th (-1 unit) + 14th (-1 unit) + 4th (-0.5 unit) -> (-2.5 units)

MERRYGOWIN caught my eye last time after having few favours in the running. He outperformed his market price and looks close to being in peak form to win.
