FABULOUS EIGHT will be my best bet for the afternoon. This 1000m specialist remains in good form and although he was no match for Winning Dreamer on his last outing, that effort rated very well. He has the clear advantage here of drawing the outside rail in a field that lacks depth, or pressure for him. I expect him to sit on or near the lead and prove too quick. DUBLIN STAR is the main danger. He too is racing in good order and has performed well down the straight course. After being defeated by Fabulous Eight earlier this preparation (by 3 lengths) he notched his first win against COMFORT LIFE (DR EQ was 13^th) and looked good doing so, running okay time. Comfort Life himself did well given he drew the wrong side of the course, but unfortunately for him he will come out of a low draw again. SUPER KIN has upside, but this big unit might need more time and his best looks ahead of him and some time next season. Fabulous Eight is a confident play to win this and the quinella with Dublin Star isn’t the worst.
