This shapes as a good race to outlay on a couple of horse to win, that are at decent odds in early betting. RELENTLESS ME and E STAR appear to be reasonable value in what is an otherwise very competitive event. Relentless Me arrives to this following back-to-back wins and is stepping up to 1400m, which I believe is even an more suitable distance for him. He remains very well-weighted and ultimately the handicapper has almost gifted him another win on that score. The manner in which E Star closed his race off over 1200m at Happy Valley at his last start suggested that he too will like the 1400m and from a soft draw, I think he is ready to perform well. LOBO’S LEGEND is the deserved favourite as his overall form this preparation has been excellent and there is no doubt that he is the best chance to win this race. But he does need a bit to go his way with top weight and a middle draw that could see him posted wide and worse than midfield in the running. STREET SCREAM ran with plenty of merit last time and could get a “soft trip” on the rails, which, with luck, could help him, charge into the finish again. GUY DRAGON was simply given too much to do last time and he faces a similar issue today having drawn barrier 14. What that might allow Teetan to do however, is to make an early run into the race if the pace slackens in the middle stages. Small outlays on Relentless Me and E Star are the plays here though.
