This is another race where there doesn’t look like there’ll be a lot of pace and if LIGHTNING STEED can cross and control the tempo then I think he can win again. He was well rated to win last time when Joao Moreira rode him, but there is no reason why Vincent Ho can’t attempt similar tactics this time to score. A number of his efforts over the course and distance have rated well enough and although he has more weight, he looks like he’ll be at very appealing “each-way” odds. Moreira rides COURAGEOUS DRAGON tonight and after the horse was heavily backed last time he kept on well enough to finish 3^rd. He is likely to get an economical trip from a low draw this time and no doubt the public will favour him. INCANTO PREPARED hit the line quite well over the Valley mile at his last start and I think merits respect. He’s drawn to sit in the first half of the field from where he can launch his challenge to win. HUMBLE STEED is bidding for three-wins-in-a-row and is clearly in good form at present. I’m not convinced about where he’ll find himself from barrier 12 however and I don’t think the race shape will suit him tonight.
