NATURAL STORM put the writing on the wall at his last start and came close to a win when finishing a neck off Perfect To Play (Race 645). Considering that was his fourth career run, he should prove a top chance to go one better with the step up to 2000m. He was suited by the solid tempo last time (race-best final-200m of 11.52 seconds), part of which MCMUNIGAL was a part of, but I expect that Natural Storm can settle a lot closer to the front of affairs from a decent draw this time and should run well. McMunigal fought bravely and his recent form is hard to knock. Joao Moreira takes over this time and that is a clear positive. He looks likely to have to work early though being drawn 12 at the tricky 2000m starting point. The 4.5kg claim might help GALA NIGHT land his fourth win and he is another galloper that has been hard to knock from a form perspective. His on-pace style and jumping from an inside gate will suit the young lad. GOOD DAYS will appreciate coming back to Sha Tin. He didn’t have any excuses last start but maps nicely and should get his chance here.
