KINDA COOL was solid on his debut when we made him a play and he ran a gallant 2^nd down the straight course. There weren’t many excuses, but he just got a little lost in the concluding stages and wandered around a little late without the rail to guide him. The form out of the race looks good with Dublin Star and Here Comes Ted both winning since. With the benefit of the experience and stepping up to 1200m, he looks really well placed. He looks a main play again. FLYING SPIRIT hit the line quite well in the same race and might be one to include in exotics. It will be hard to play too heavily into this event with the newcomer from the John Size yard SCORES OF FUN taking part. His work and trials have been solid and it is hard to know quite how good he is, but he obviously warrants respect. And SKY DARCI went out a winner back in December and his work leading in to this event has been good enough. He too looks a progressive galloper who has the benefit of a good draw and raceday experience. There’s value with Kinda Cool, but it’s not going to be a major outlay race for the reasons mentioned above.
