There doesn’t look like there’ll be much pace in this event, and that might provide SUMSTREETSUMWHERE a chance to notch his second local win on his 30^thstart. The jockey upgrade from Dylan Mo to Zac Purton is significant and from a favourable draw he can lead or sit in the “box seat” and should get his chance to score again. The last start performance of Sumstreetsumwhere was strong considering the run he received and he should be ready. HOME MADE is an interesting runner given the manner in which he has been closing off over shorter distances at the city circuit and he might be the main value in the race. I like the fact he backs-up within a week. He’s not an easy one to position in the map though, except he’ll most likely be wide through out from barrier 10. CHARITY WINGS will probably settle closer from a better draw and he might also appreciate a firmer surface but the market will be a good lead for his chances, as it was last time. ELECTRIC LIGHTNING is racing in good order but it is hard to be confident that he can go back-to-back given his overall profile – I expect that he’s back “on his mark”.
