PARTY GENIUS was a main play for the Strategy last time and looks a decent winning chance again today. I still don’t know how he didn’t win the race in the Stewards room when he was clearly hampered down the stretch, but hopefully he can atone this time around. Zac Purton sticks with him, which is a positive and he is a galloper that clearly has upside. His issue is the map and where he gets to in the running, again he’ll be covering extra ground. SPRINT FORWARD is on the back-up and will no doubt strip fitter for his last start. He might have to do a little early work from a wide alley, but there is definitely another race in him of his current mark (55) in Class 4. GOLDEN FOUR is racing in good order and maps to get a soft run from the gate. The main issue for him is that he does need decent pace in the race, as even though drawn handily he has little early speed, so will be well-back on the fence in the running. CARE FREE PRINCE carries a little more weight for his last victory, but is generally a consistent performer and he should be in front for a fair way, and might hold on to a minor spot.
