A field of four horses will compete for this Griffin event, which consists of some pretty ordinary stock. Three of the four runners are having their second career start with SUPER TEN making his debut on the back of a fair recent turf trial. SMILING FACE fared best of those that competed in Race 563 on April 12, which did not rate well based on slow sectionals and a slow overall time. I expect Smiling Face to clearly be the favourite and he can obviously win with natural improvement, he showed decent natural speed and weakened less than the rest. However, LIKE THAT only had one 800m trial leading in to his debut and I thought ran well until around the 150m mark where his lack of fitness seemed to kick in. So I expect that he could be the biggest improver going in to this race and I have him shorter than the market as a result. CHANCHENG PRINCE finished 3^rd in that event and doesn’t have a great deal to find to win either. It’s not a great race at all, I have a leaning to Like That to win, but don’t play much into the race.
