DANCING FIGHTER will be hard to beat here. The son of Zoustar has run the quinella in six of his seven career starts and had clear excuses when defeated on his last outing after blowing the start. His recent trial was solid, Zac Purton riding from gate 1 are both positives and he will deservedly start a short-priced favourite. Dancing Fighter has performed gamely having endured some wide trips from unsuitable gates, with the key tonight being his barrier manners. GOLDEN DASH hasn’t competed in 321 days, but his work leading in to his resumption has been sound enough and he posted some pretty good numbers when he was racing. Any market support would be noteworthy for him. PING HAI GALAXY remains in good form also. He had every chance last time but the main concern here would be where he will position from a wide draw? There aren’t many genuine chances in this one and I expect Dancing Fighter to win if he steps on terms. He’s one of the better bets on the card.
