This is not a race that I am overly enthusiastic about. OVERSUBSCRIBED has been knocking on the door in recent starts and definitely has claims; especially if they decide to roll forward and can take up the lead on the “C+3” course. He appears limited but has found a winnable race tonight if he can find the front without having to work too hard. HERO TIME posted some good figures earlier this season and is resuming from a bleeding attack. His best form is clearly good enough, but his recent turf trial was only fair and that is a concern. HAPPY TANGO is awkwardly drawn but his latest effort on a rain-affected surface was clearly better and he arguably has more upside than most. With any sort of luck from a wide alley he can figure in the finish, however the draw makes it very tough. In an even race, PRECIOUS SWEETIE and SPEEDY LUCK also look capable, with the right run in transit and that could be the key factor in the event. The latter in this instance, Speedy Luck, looks far more likely to get the right run that Precious Sweetie. Overall though, not a race I’m keen to play much into, use my prices accordingly.
