TUNG WAH GLORY should prove the runner to beat in this event. He was terrific when dropping back to 1400m last start and scoring, albeit off a suitable strong tempo, but he showed a blistering sprint at his start prior at the city course and showed that he handles the track. The wide draw isn’t ideal, but from that perspective, we are in the hands of Zac Purton, which is pleasing. TRIUMPHANT HORSE comes through some good races and he can settle a lot closer from a low draw this time. With Joao Moreira booked to ride, he will be popular in the market. Given the draws, their chances are equalized somewhat and my assessment isn’t dissimilar to the early market, so there isn’t a great deal of “fat” between them. COURAGEOUS DRAGON brings in the same form as Tung Wah Glory, as he finished 4^th to him. BULB ELITE will roll forward and probably won’t get too much pressure in that role and should give a good account once again. Overall there’s not much to report early, so use my prices accordingly.
