DIAMOND BRILLIANT is the standout chance to win this race. His recent form is easy to like, he maps in a forward position and with Joao Moreira he will be popular in the market. On his last two runs he has worked very hard throughout the early stages and been vulnerable late in the race, but with the prospect of a much softer run this time, I am happy to suggest he can win again. SUNSET WATCH gets a drop in class and with any luck in running he will prove to be a worthy adversary. The form around Amazing Star reads well but he will need some luck in running from his barrier of 9. YOUNG LEGEND impressed me in a recent trial and goes in to this event on fresh legs, having not competed in 175 days and that gap between runs is a slight concern. GOOD FOR YOU is flying this preparation, which is hard to work out given the seven-year-old has been well exposed through out previous seasons in Hong Kong. Nonetheless, he has claims again coming back to the city venue. BEAUTY AMIGO shouldn’t be far away either but his chances will depend on how hard he has to work from the outside alley. Diamond Brilliant is my best bet of the night.
