SUPERICH at his best should be too good for this field. He has had 38 days between runs but his recent trial was very good work and IF he does everything right in terms of his racing manners, then he might just have a class edge on his Class 3 competition here. Superich has form around the likes of Golden Sixty, Preciousship and Perfect Match, with any one of those recent runs rating highly enough for him win this event with a repeat. Given my history with him, having backed him far too many times without much joy, I find it hard to go again. That said, we’ve had some time apart so we might be reuniting on better terms! I liked the run for 3^rd from BEAUTY ICON 2 weeks ago and he maps to get a similar run today. If you can’t stomach being with Superich then Beauty Icon certainly has some appeal. PICKEN brings the same form line with Moreira sticking with him after a sound placing last time. He looks ready to run to his best. TOYCOON delivered a sound second-up performance and might also be open to more improvement. He had excuses last time and could settle a touch closer from his barrier today. STREET SCREAM might be a value chance at a big price to include in exotics; his Hong Kong debut was sound in what was a high-rating race. To be, or not be, that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer backing Superich to win, or to outlay around him?
