On ratings, this looks like a race between two runners, CINQUANTE CINQ and NABOO STAR, each of which have been in excellent form this season. Cinquante Cinq was no match for Dances With Dragon last start but probably didn’t get the required tempo but was solid in defeat and he does perform well over this course and distance. Moreira has only had one ride on him for a win and his booking is a clear positive even though the likely tempo again is not. NABOO STAR was a play for us the last time he went around and he was desperately unlucky, and don’t think I am being biased in saying he should have won. He is fit and well and if he holds his recent form then he should prove hard to beat once more. Of the remainder, JOLLY HONOUR has been holding his form and looks the type that will be well suited to the booking of Zac Purton. None of this trio will settle too close in the running, but in a race that lacks depth I still expect them to be fighting it out. Off early prices, my leaning is towards Naboo Star to win.
