There will be a Best Selections and Strategy play in this event with BULLISH BROTHER. With the rail in the “C+3” position, I expect the leaders close to the rail to be well-suited (more so than they naturally are) and his effort when winning in Class 5 last start rated well. He was pressured mid-race and overall posted some good figures. Bullish Brother drops 6.5kg here and hopefully they try and bust the field open mid-race again. There is one main danger, as the market would suggest, GIFT OF LIFELINE. He is progressive and better value for his last win than the margin suggests given he ran in to trouble on the point of the turn. Had he drawn better, it would be hard to take him on, but he will need a good ride from gate 9 with the rail in the outermost position. MY FAMILY can inject some value in to the exotics. The son of Jimmy Choux might be looking for more ground but he showed enough on his second career start to keep safe for this run. JOLLY BOUNTIFUL has had plenty of chances but he is reasonably consistent. I’m happy to back Bullish Brother to lead all the way here.
