There looks to be a decent play here with FANTASTIC EIGHT. He was terrific when storming home over the course and distance three weeks ago and that night he posted some excellent closing sections (22.29 second-best final-400m of the entire meeting). The form has worked out well-enough with the runner-up Blitzing scoring at his next outing and this time Fantastic Eight just needs a genuine tempo (which I expect him to get). WALDORF’S form is difficult to knock and the booking of a senior rider may help him get back in the winner’s enclosure Teetan has a decent record aboard him. Waldorf is a deserved favourite and will be hardest to beat. GAMECHANGERS has in all likelihood has almost reached his mark in the handicap but should get a good run and can be fighting out the finish, while HAPPY TIME comes out of a decent race won by Music Addition and isn’t the worst chance at all, in fact is much inferior to Gamechangers. I’m happy to outlay each way on Fantastic Eight however at his price.
