This is a competitive race even though there’s only a small field assembled for it. Silvestre de Sousa gets the call up on TURIN REDSTAR who can land in a prominent position cheaply and following a string of solid runs in defeat this season he is a leading contender once again. He’s had very little luck in the running and meets many horses on better terms than he has recently. CHARITY GO went too hard on pace last time but if they decide to ride him a touch more conservatively then it would be no surprise if he went very close in this one. He has shown plenty of ability at certain time during this preparation and this looks a reasonable race for him. VICTORY BOYS is the one runner that might improve coming back to Happy Valley and he can run well, while the trial of RUTHVEN was a touch better and improvement wouldn’t surprise. However, the reality is that any of the eight runners here could win this one and it wouldn’t be a major surprise, that said the best over to me is Turin Redstar so he’s an each way outlay
