This is a relatively even race with plenty of chances with not much separating their ratings. The safest option might be VINCY on a small outlay basis, on the back of a sound performance when he sat close enough to a solid tempo last time and still fought on okay. Then he faced several rivals (six others in race 449) and he might be that little bit fitter with that run over 2000m under the belt. GLORIOUS DRAGON was having just his second local start there and is open to more improvement than most. His fifth placing had merit given he didn’t really relax during the running. That said, he has an awful draw to jump from which might mean going back from the start is the best option to help the horse settle. CLASSIC BEAUTY had a good run in transit and beat his rivals home out of race 449, he is close to a win and is on the short list. DYNAMIC EAGLE closed well too in that race and he also has each way claims in an event with several genuine hopes. Early prices suggest small outlays on Vincy and Dynamic Eagle could be worthwhile – it’s not a high confident race though, so don’t bet much.
