The main runner I am interested in here is SHINING GEM. He was given too much to do last time but hopefully from a better draw and taking a step-up to 1,200m, he can settle closer to the speed. He continues to race well and I’m happy to be with him on an each-way basis. BLITZING will roll forward and take some catching, but his recent efforts are suggesting he is on or close to his mark, while NOBLE DELIGHT is also a major player. He got too far back at his last outing over the minimum trip and up to 1,200m he looks far better suited. Noble Delight should get the right run with Joao Moreira back aboard, should be in the finish and is a deserved favourite. HAPPY VICTORY has shown some potential, can map on pace, receive the right trip and shouldn’t be far away. A small each way on Shining Gem is the play here.
