The course and distance win to WAH MAY PRINCESS was quite impressive last start considering he seemed to be losing his position on the turn, but he won well. The issue for me is that it was a much-improved effort on his previous attempts over the track and trip and I do feel he was on the best part of the track that night. EXCEPTIONAL DESIRE is another last start winner who rises slightly in weights but is going well. He will need some luck from a wide draw and I’m happy to oppose him this time around. EVERBRAVE to me shapes as a better option. He comes through a decent form race (London Master and Wah May Princess have both won thereafter) after being back and wide and making a move at the worst time during the running. It was some run in defeat and I’m happy to make him an each way play in a somewhat thin contest with question marks around those shorter in the market. NICE KICK might appreciate coming back to the turf and can run well too. He maps nicely and can certainly run better than his early market price of $10.00. SUPER LEADER had clear excuses when he last competed on the all-weather having no room when the race got serious, and his form prior was sound at this track. BAND OF BROTHERS trialed okay however the stable record suggest he’s better watching on debut. But Everbrave is the solid each way play for me here.
