summary

There’s plenty of pace in this event but the debut of FRUSTRATED rated well and providing he doesn’t get caught out on a limb, one would think with natural improvement he can go close to posting a win, in what is an otherwise very competitive event. The early favourite is TOM’S DRAGON and although he might get the right run, he has had a few chances and doesn’t seem anything special. The market will be with him though with the Size/Moreira factor being of significance. BESTA LUCK has some decent form lines alongside his name after suffering defeat to the likes of Tornado Twist and Champion’s Way, so he warrants some respect with the blinkers reapplied. Barrier 10 isn’t ideal for him though and one’s taking an extra punt on some luck for pilot Chad Schofield when they jump. ORIENTAL ELITE hasn’t competed since June of last year but looked relatively progressive at that stage when posting a win over the course and distance. He has had a couple of trials leading in to this event tonight which indicate he might be forward enough to run a decent race even though O’Sullivan-trained runners are often better after a fresh-up run.

MR RIGHT can lead from barrier 1 but there appears as though there’ll be plenty of others looking to go forward. They include VERY SWEET ORANGE, WINWIN THIRTYTHREE and BESTA LUCK. SUPER FUN can track these horses and looks like he might secure the optimum spot in the running.
