summary

I DO appears as though he’ll very hard to beat in this event. He simply worked too hard on the pace at his last start, but the run rated very well and with a more measured approach from a handy draw this time around he should be hard to beat. This field today doesn’t have a great deal of depth to it and Purton will be wary of ensuring his mount is positioned close to the front and out of potential trouble. I Do is a son of So You Think and he will be even better over further than the mile, but he can break his maiden this time. SUNNY POWER is the clear danger. He had excuses when defeated by CHIU CHOW KID in Race 409, (EMPIRE STAR was fifth and HAY RUN eighth) and he should get a better run in transit this time from the inside draw. DASHING DART could be an improver and a quinella option as he has been racing well albeit in Class 5. With the rise in grade, he drops significantly in weight and might appreciate having the blinkers back on. I’m with I Do here and there looks to be value in small quinellas with Sunny Power and Dashing Dart.

There isn’t much speed once again here and I expect VICTORIOUS LEADER to go forward along with I DO. SUNNY POWER can sit close to that pair with FAMILY LEADER and RULETHEROOST prominent.
