summary

On to the all-weather track (AWT) for this event and there might be a couple worth playing at odds. JIN JIN KING and VIVA COUNCIL were both featured in my Sweet In Defeat (SID) reviews recently and both delivered similar runs in different races. Viva Council comes back in grade after settling on top of a quick tempo and given the majority of those that figured in the finish settled back in the field that day, there was some merit in his performance. The issue is he has drawn wide, along with Jin Jin King who also worked far too hard up on the pace in a Class 5 last start. Jin Jin King fought bravely though and gets in with a light weight for this Class 4 on this occasion. REMARKABLE (De Sousa) and CHUNG WAH SPIRIT (Purton) were both solid performers in races over this course and distance recently and it looks easy to make a case for them too, but with the bookings of those leading hoops, they appear to be well-found in the market. Small outlays on Jin Jin King and Viva Council is where I’m leaning towards here.

speed

The pace should be GOOD here without being much faster. The main speed comes from the wider draws with LOTUS BREEZE, JIN JIN KING and VIVA COUNCIL being asked to go forward from SUPERIOR BOY and MARVEL joy who are drawn closer to the rail.
