The blinkers seemed to make a significant difference to DOR DOR on his last outing and although he has a little to find against BINGO, who was quite a decisive winner when they last clashed, he is open to more improvement. Bingo has drawn the outside gate and might have to work a little in the early stages, as there seems like there might be some competition initially before the tempo might slacken. For Bingo, it’s all about what happens during the middle stages. Dor Dor hasn’t shown that he can take a position, so barrier 9 isn’t great for him, but he might land with some cover three-wide – that’s Zac Purton’s challenge! If the pressure is on, then CHARIZARD might be an option. He isn’t a big horse so the claim should help and he can get home strongly. VOYAGE STAR and RED HORSE are two others that can figure in the finish if they’re able to bring their best recent form. Voyage Star maps very well, so he should be upgraded as a result.
