summary

I expect that will be a lot of pace in this event and a lot might depend on how the track plays through out the evening. I really liked the run of NOBLE DELIGHT in defeat at his last outing and he looks ready to win now. Then he conceded too much ground, but stormed home over the final-400m (22.74 race-best) and hopefully this time he won’t be standing them up too much of a start. He is a little “in or out”, but his best should have him winning. LITTLE BIRD is interesting with the drop-back to 1,000m, the booking of Zac Purton and the visor being applied. The figures he has posted for his last two starts are a fair way off what he was doing earlier in the season, but due to a couple of the aforementioned factors he might be able to bounce back. MOST BEAUTIFUL is dangerously handicapped with the apprentice’s claim and he has been holding his form exceptionally well. He runs very consistently, so whilst his best might not be up to Noble Delight and Little Bird’s best, if they dip below their best then Most Beautiful take advantage. I’m not really interested in anything else with Noble Delight being the individual each way suggestion.
