This looks a race where we can bet a couple of horses at good prices, HAPPY FORCE and EARTH TRILOGY. The former has been holding his form exceptionally well since the blinkers were applied three runs back, having posted two wins and a third behind subsequent winner Right Choice (Race 337 with Encouraging finishing fourth there also winning twice since). With 51.5kg on his back and from a good barrier, Happy Force will take some beating. Earth Trilogy looks to be some value also. He was decent on his Hong Kong debut (starting price was $14) when he closed well in a race-best final-200m of 11.38. There should be some nice improvement in fitness for Earth Trilogy, he maps to be in a good spot during the running and he will clearly be appreciative of the step up in distance. NOBLE STEED remains in good form and his efforts have rated well but I’m not sure he maps that well, so he will need his share of luck. Much the same applies to BEAUTY SPIRIT, he carries top weight from a wide gate so he’ll have to do some work in the running.
