summary
It’s a little tricky regarding the pace in this event, but one of the bets on the card competes here, HAPPY WARRIOR. He comes from a key form reference (Race 362) with CHARITY GRAND (first), ALPHA HEDGE (second), POLYMER LUCK (fifth) and GREAT JOY (10th) also renewing the challenge. There were clear excuses when Happy Warrior was badly checked last time and he looked as though he was going to run right into the finish. Had he won, he would have defied a dreadfully slow tempo, which aided the chances of Alpha Hedge and company. Douglas Whyte waited too long to move on Alpha Hedge last time and the horse gets Moreira on board this time. There is a good value chance in this race with ACCLAIMED LIGHT. This 7-year-old comes back in class following a sound run in a high rating race won by Warm The Voice. Dylan Mo has only had three rides for Paul O’Sullivan for two seconds, so the trainer doesn’t mind putting the young jockey on the better stock that are ready. Happy Warrior is my best for the night and there looks to be value in the quinellas with Acclaimed Light and Charity Grand.
