summary
This is quite a good race and I’m keen on one here, SOLAR WAI WAI. He is unlikely to be any spoils in the market, which is a shame, but his debut when he was caught in the shadow’s of the post was a highly creditable performance and he looks another nice prospect for trainer Frankie Lor. Considering he never attained much peace in the lead during his first run, he fought very well and Zac Purton has a few more options open to him today from his draw and the speed around him – Solar Wai Wai should prove hard to beat. The drop in grade will assist Hong Kong maiden BULB ELITE who comes through a decent form race (307) won by Young Legend. Whilst he doesn’t possess much tactical speed he’s drawn barrier 1 again, which means he’ll do no work in the running and should be able to sprint into the finish with luck. RED HORSE is more exposed than most but he is holding his form well and can also feature in the finish given he maps to get all favours again. A runner at a price and value for exotic bettors might be LE TERROIR. He has a really good turn of foot and whilst the drop back to 1,200m isn’t ideal, as he does look like he wants further, he might still be able to sneak in to the frame by flashing home late.
