summary

Another race presents with a significant number of debutants, in this case four. Most of them should need the experience from what I’ve seen with the exception of WONDER EXPRESS who showed plenty of speed when winning a turf trial in good style. The son of Pierro looks a nice individual who has the ability to be competitive and the fact Danny Shum has planned the 1,200m as opposed the to 1,000m for his debut signals his intensions. All that said, there is some handy stock in this race. MULTIMILLION with the blinkers applied and jumping from gate 1 will run along at a solid tempo and racing back around a bend he might be better suited. SPEEDY DRAGON is bidding for a hat-trick of wins and his last two have rated well enough to post another success, although obviously this is tougher. GLENEALY GENERALS won well on debut over 1,000m and to me the step up to 1,200m is a positive move. He should be better too having had race experience and he managed to defeat Multimillion on that occasion. LORIZ is another debutant that has moved well in a trial that adds extra to the mix in another race that I’ll be happier to watch than outlay. If pressed a small each way bet on Wonder Express could be worthwhile.

*Glenealy Generals is a late-scratching

speed

This race should be run at a genuine tempo with MULTIMILLION and BINGO the primary speed. GLENEALY GENERALS is drawn widest but might be asked to work forward, whilst LORIZ and HAPPY BOYBOY could position handy to the lead from the barriers.
