This Class 5 is a pretty thin race on paper. OTOUTO posted some decent figures when winning at Sha Tin on his last outing and although he doesn’t win out of turn, this race is no harder. On face value, the form looks decent enough with runner up Diamond Legend scoring quite easily last weekend. THE SHOW has to be on the short list. He has been quite consistent this season in this grade and he performs well-enough over the course and distance (12:1-0-6). He will need some luck from a wide alley however. PEACE ON EARTH brings in the same form around Otouto (Race 330), but he has drawn poorly and there might be better options elsewhere than him given the likely map. REGENCY HONEY has been around the mark his last two starts at the city venue and he maps well again. SUNNY ORIENT ran on well on his last outing but looks to have come up too short to back with the booking of Moreira. Nonetheless, it was an improved effort then and considering it was his first run for Benno Yung, he is potentially open to improvement back on the turf. Otouto is worth an each way ticket however at his price.
