summary
For the third on the program I’m sticking with GLORY STAR (who has been good to us this season) as my top selection (and best for the night) even though there is definitely more competition in this race than his previous efforts where he was victorious. Glory Star should land in the lead easily enough and based on his two wins this season, he is going to take a power of beating again. A lot will depend how much pressure CURLING LUXURY and LEISURED FEET apply to him, that said, if they are aggressive then Glory Star could also take a sit behind the pace as he did on his first up win this term. CHAMPION SUPREME has been crying out for the step up to a mile and the manner in which he has closed over 1,200m suggests he could be a major player here and lift his overall profile to a new level. Similarly, FAMILY LEADER also looks like a peak run is on the cards following two sound career runs. Up to the mile is a positive and being well-drawn for his first Happy Valley assignment is important. Family Leader comes through a solid form race won by Pearl Champion (Hinyuen Swiftness has won since) and he is open to a fair amount of improvement. Curling Luxury remains in good form and cannot be totally discarded.
