summary

NASHASHUK appears to have been prepared and ‘set’ for this event having had four barrier trials since the end of November. This is his first run down in Class 5 and although he has only ever won one race, John Size wouldn’t keep him in the system if he weren’t of the belief he could win again. Nashashuk needs to bring his best form, but that would good enough for him to be winning here. REGENCY HONEY hasn’t competed since mid-November but his form at that time was solid and from a decent alley he should get a chance to figure in the finish again. He hasn’t been overly worked, but did win a barrier trial on December 21 in Conghua and his bodyweight is near where it was for his victory. JUMBO BUS is having just his ninth career start but he hit the line relatively well behind M Reborn at his last outing after covering ground. He is a big price in early markets and if worth including if you are playing exotics. CARRY TO WIN and GREAT SON ran okay over this course and distance back in November (Race 192) and have place claims.

RUGBY DIAMOND, REGENCY HONEY and TRENDIFUL are the horses likely to be contesting for the leading positions through out the early stages here. GREAT SON and NASHASHUK can track these horses from their good barrier draws.
