summary

The sixth race is on the all-weather and I will be watching it only unless REMARKABLE comes up a reasonable price and to a lessor extent RADIANT BUNNY. There is a fair amount of pace in this event and most of it drawn high, so I expect the first half to be solidly-run. The key for Remarkable is that he will do little work through the first half, receiving a cheap rails run, which would be in stark contrast to what transpired from the half way mark for him last time. GOOD FIT beat the likes of RADIANT BUNNY (second), SUPERIOR BOY (third) and SUNSHINE UNIVERSE (fourth) last start in an odd race (267), where there were a stack of bad rides. Radiant Bunny was probably the best of those defeated by Good Fit and he has solid claims here even though he’s going to be back and wide – there should be sufficient pace for him to get into the race late. Whilst Sunshine Universe certainly had excuses when shuffled back midrace and getting ‘off the bit’. It looks on paper like Holy Unicorn will have to work too hard from a wide gate but with a light weight, he looks the best of the on-pacers.

speed

There should be at least GOOD speed here and it might even end up being run on the FAST side. GRAND HARBOUR and HOLY UNICORN can work across from wide draws with ART OF RAW being asked to hold a position from an inside draw. SUNSHINE UNIVERSE and SUPERIOR BOY are other horses that could inject pace into the race.
