Two horses present as sound outlays for the third race SPLIT OF A SECOND and JIMSON THE DRAGON. The former I think is capable of winning again and I expect that he can take a position closer to the lead than last start when the draw dictated tactics somewhat. Jimson The Dragon is an improving type and showed enough on debut to suggest that he can be competitive here with natural improvement.

Country Star will be a well-supported favourite, however I can make a decent case to back three gallopers at solid ‘overs’ prices to make a strong race of it. SUPER HOPPY has been freshened and I like his prep-work leading into this. STORM SIGNAL hasn’t won as much as he possibly should have, but he’s in the right form to should get the right run to go very close. FANTASTIC FEELING can take the rise in class after an excellent win over Blitzing.

HAR HAR HEART was asked to sustain a long run last start and whilst it was probably the right tactics the horse peaked late. He should be better suited to the way the race shapes up here tonight, slotting in behind midfield following a genuine tempo, and that will allow Moreira to bring into the finish at an opportune time.
