He might not be any spoil in the market but CONTE should be winning again. His last win rated through the roof and suggested he is up to being competitive in Group races in Hong Kong. He comes in to this handicap well-weighted and his running style, on pace, gives him a great chance to win his seventh race from his ninth career start. TAKING AIM can run well with a massive drop in the weights (carries 51.5kg here). He should press forward from the wide gate and although this is his toughest test to date, on weights and measures he should be up to it. NOTHINGILIKEMORE is another that can figure given the handicap conditions, as his run in the Hong Kong International Mile was more than respectable. I’m not sure any others are needed beyond these three, with Conte clearly the best of the lot.
