Normally MISSION TYCOON (SID) would have been a clear bet in this event based on a superb run at his seasonal return in a dirt race that rated very, very well. He will be fitter and I’d normally consider him a great play. However REGENCY LEGEND is his competition. Mission Tycoon will be the single quinella option with Regency Legend though. Speaking of the son of Pins, he was supremely impressive on his Hong Kong debut when blitzing his rivals in a time that basically matched the Hong Kong International Sprint. Probably being three-wide that afternoon wasn’t quite the huge disadvantage that it would normally would be, but he reigned supreme and one would assume is open to more improvement. He looks an exciting prospect. COUNTRY STAR might appreciate the rise in grade and he too is progressive. These three all look destined for bigger and better races in the future, while LEAN PERFECTION is another galloper that has more points in hand. He will relish the move up in trip. This will prove to be a very good form reference going forward.
