This Class 3 2000m event isn’t the most inspiring. UNICRON JEWELLERY shapes as a good chance with his most recent placing behind Pakistan Friend rating well. He’s by Savabeel, so the increased distance should be beneficial and he maps well. SANGRIA has finished in front of Unicron Jewellery on the two occasions they’ve competed, however the former has the weight swings against him. PLANET STAR is unknown over this distance but looks the logical leader and he can run well. HARMONY HERO looked very promising early in his Hong Kong career, but hasn’t ‘kicked on’. He takes a step up in distance and there’s no doubting he’s capable and still has upside. TIANCHI MONSTER was ridden too close to a strong speed last start, but there shouldn’t be quite the same pressure here. Either way he’s drawn to not have to work so hard and the 2000m will suit. He was at his best over the middle distance when in New Zealand (ex. Formidable). HO HO FEEL finished over the top of Tianchi Monster (race 238) last time and can run well again especially if the leaders overdo the speed.
