summary

We’re presented with another straight race here that will have four debutants compete and two others that have had one start. DANCING FIGHTER has impressed me in his work and trials. The son of Zoustar coped nicely with his most recent hit out over 1000m when holding Craig’s Star (race 3 today) quite easily. So a good additional ‘line’ might be drawn following the running of the third race today. I expect Dancing Fighter to sit on the pace and run well though. EPTIWINS has come up a good price and I liked the performance from him on debut when sprinting well late to finish just behind Bumble Baby. The issue for him is following his debut, he trialled and then didn’t work for four weeks suggesting a minor issue, so you’re taking him on trust in some respects. FABULOUS EIGHT and MULTIMILLION filled the minors behind Glenealy Generals (race 256) with both runners open to improvement. DOR DOR is an interesting horse for John Size. He was impressive winning one trial in New Zealand as a two-year-old before having four trials in Hong Kong. His first three were unimpressive, however his most recent looked much improved. He might surprise at odds. Dancing Fighter is the horse to beat according to my assessment though.

DANCING FIGHTER showed enough in a recent trial to suggest he can sit on or close to the lead here with MULTIMILLION close by. FABULOUS EIGHT has drawn high and won’t be far from the top end with GALLANT LEGACY.
