I like the fact that WONDERFUL TIGER is coming back to 1,200m and the booking of Zac Purton is noteworthy. His recent form has been quite sound but the fact he has over-raced over the mile hasn’t helped his cause in shrugging his maiden status. The blinkers going on, combined with a quicker tempo over a shorter distance might be the formula he needs. The drop back in grade should help BEST GIFT who went reasonably well in a much stronger race last start (Follow Me, Happy Force and Romantic Chef have all won since). He will be conceding a start, but if the race is run genuinely as expected can sprint well into the finish. OUR HONOUR ($38 starting price) was unwanted in the market on his seasonal reappearance but performed quite well and he will strip fitter for the run. He didn’t have all favours in the running, but will at least get a soft run today. RICHCITY FORTUNE is definitely a player with the move back to Sha Tin. He is well-drawn and has been holding his form well. He maps to get one of the runs of the race.
