We have been with SUPERICH through out this season and we’re with him again as the best of the day. Simply put he should be unbeaten this term and his runs in defeat have been very very good. He is delivering the numbers of a Group quality galloper and one that I think could win the first leg of the four-year-old series (the Classic Mile) and potentially develop into a Hong Kong Derby horse. He’s drawn well for his racing pattern. It will allow Zac Purton to have him travel where he’s happy and with even luck roll into the event from the 700, before sprinting hard late in the straight. The horse for him to beat is MR SO AND SO. Whilst he got a soft rails run last start he still picked up well to win impressively enough even though the margin was small. He’ll get a similar trip today and if the favourite finds trouble or Purton misjudges the pace then Mr So And So can capitalise. REGENCY BO BO is the only other runner that interests me in the last. He is a genuine on pace runner that can keep rolling. The fact he’s finished in the top-three 15 times in a 28 start career is a testament to how honest a race horse he is. Superich though is the best and quinellas with Mr So And So and Regency Bo Bo are sound outlays also.
