summary

REMARKABLE is the deserved favourite for the first and the drop back in grade gives him a good chance to notch his fourth win in Hong Kong. He has proved the ability to carry weight in the past and his effort when sixth at his last outing was full of merit considering he was held-up at a key stage. Even though it’s a small field there looks to be enough pace for him to settle back and work into the finish. An ‘even running’ dirt track is very important. The logical danger is KING’S MAN. The drop back to a mile isn’t ideal but he handles the surface well enough, having finished second on both attempts and he should be working home late. GRAND HARBOUR will make the running and the key to his chances will depend on how much pressure there is on him in the lead and if the rail is running hot. Being race one it’s impossible to know the track bias before the event unfortunately. I’m not really interested in much else and the market has really found what I have to boot.

speed

Even though the field is small the tempo should be okay with GRAND HARBOUR and ART OF RAW setting things up in front. KING OF MONGOLIA can take close order with ROMANTIC BONANZA. Every runner should get their chance.
