A third of this field are making their debut, so it isn’t a race I would normally get to heavily involved in, but this might be an exception as the newcomers to my eye and assessment look moderate at best. GLITTERING ARMOUR clearly comes through with the best figures from his runner-up effort behind Honest Way and he closed with a race-best final-400m and 200m of 22.26/11.44. The form looks solid enough out of that race (Happy Tour and Ocean Roar have won and others have placed) and he is more than capable of winning this race. HAVE FUN TOGETHER went well in a recent trial and he looks like the logical danger. He is yet to win and is becoming expensive for win backers, however his best will take him very close. Outside of those two, this race really lacks depth. LIGHTNING TREASURE was sound on his seasonal return behind Multimillion and will strip fitter for his second-up run this preparation.  In addition the 1200m distance of today’s assignment looks a suitable trip. Of the newcomers, EZRA went just okay when winning a recent trial but to my eye he looks as though he will need a little time and more ground.
