This race has a number of the usual suspects lining up in it, with the exception of BIG PARTY who started odds-on on debut before peaking on his run and finishing fifth. Frankie Lor has given him two trials since then, including one on this surface and this horse looks to be a bet today. His trials and work at times suggest that he looks a talent and he’ll get his chance to shine here, unless the dirt track is horrendously biased… which can be the case! NICE KICK and MASSIVE MILLENNIUM handle the surface and each should be running on but both are well-enough exposed that it is hard to get over enthused. In addition they don’t seem to map ideally which could make things tricky. DASHING GAINER will appreciate the claim and can run well, although it depends on how much pressure is applied from NICE FANDANGO. Lastly HAPPY WINNER has shown some promise in his work and might be one to consider for exotics behind the main bet and favourite Big Party.
