This is quite an even race with a number of chances on paper and not much separating five or six horses in terms of their ratings. STAR OF JOY was given a torrid ride when he last competed and I like the booking of Zac Purton for him. The horse is holding his form well and can win this one, although the map looks a tad messy with the skill of the champion jockey being key. FAIRY TWINS is likely to map well from a low gate and I don’t see the drop back to 1,000m being a negative. The form from his last race has worked out exceptionally well (Perfect Glory, Victory Machine x 2 and Good Omen have all had winning success). EAGLE needed a touch more tempo when he last ran but is holding his form well and once again, he is a winning chance in an even race. BEAUT BEAUT won against easier opposition last time (Gentle Breeze and Ocean Roar have won since however) but with the right run he shouldn’t be far away, while MOST BEAUTIFUL could be over the odds. It’s a tough race and I won’t suggest a specific outlay, however use prices (as per) accordingly.
