This is an interesting race with NOBLE DE LOVE coming up the most likely winner on his best figures from last preparation. He has however had plenty of issues, but his recent trial suggested he is in fine fettle and he might be a good play for this race. He maps to get a “rails run” behind the main pacesetting horses, in a race that I think will be truly run. HIGH REV has drawn awkwardly and might go back from his gate, but there looks ample speed in this event and his work in blinkers (which will be on today) was sharp. He can win as well with natural improvement from his first career start. CORDYCEPS is another that will wear the blinkers for the first time and his recent dirt trial was okay. His overall form is solid enough and he’s one of the better chances. HAPPY FORCE has some ability and might be able to figure in the finish. He should be ready to run as well as he can being third-up for Benno Yung and is yet another runner being fitted with blinkers for the race. This is an event where being nimble with the market is key. Noble De Love is the top win outlay, however I can make a case for each of my top-four so don’t hesitate to back them at the right price.
