R2 CHEVALIER CAR DEALERSHIP HANDICAP

summary

This low-grade event isn’t overly inspiring, however going off the early markets there are a couple of runners that look like they might be “backs”. NATURAL FLARE should be ready to win now with the step up to 1,400m and one thing he has been doing in his career is hitting the line with sound closing sectionals. With a jockey change he might be able to settle closer and be punched out strongly to the line. SUPREME WITNESS was an impressive winner earlier this season and the figures he has posted in defeat since then have been solid. He might well get a relatively uncontested lead which could allow him to find a winning kick late in the race. DASHING DART is first-up but some of his better form from last term is good enough for him to be competitive here and he has only had one start in this class for a win. THE SYLPH was very good over 1,200m at Happy Valley last time and could inject some value in to the exotics. He’s not really one for a win line, however he’s on a career low mark, which could see him get into the finish late. The best single play in this race is have a small each way on Natural Flare, however watch the market closely and don’t be afraid to speck a couple of others at a good price.

SUPREME WITNESS can set a GOOD speed overall here. ROCHFORD might work forward with SCARBOROUGH FAIR. M REBORN can get a rails run just behind the speed with NATURAL FLARE not far behind either.
